Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, Gift Aid allows the Wollaton Historical & Conservation Society (WHaCS) to reclaim tax on eligible donations and membership subscriptions, increasing their value to the Society. You must pay enough Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in each tax year to cover the Gift Aid claimed on all your donations to charities and community amateur sports clubs (CASCs).

Gift Aid adds an extra 25p for every £1 of eligible donations and membership subscriptions, at no additional cost to you.

Each person wishing to make a Gift Aid declaration must complete a separate form.

	By ticking the declaration box, you confirm:
	You would like Wollaton Historical & Conservation Society (WHaCS), registered charity number 501862, to claim Gift Aid on your eligible donations and membership subscriptions made during the previous four years (where applicable) and on your eligible donations and membership subscriptions in the future, until you notify the Society otherwise.
	You are a UK taxpayer. You understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax in a tax year than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations, it is your responsibility to pay any difference to HMRC. You will notify WHaCS if you no longer pay sufficient tax or if you wish to cancel this declaration.

WHaCS uses the personal information you provide for membership administration and to process your Gift Aid declaration. Your information will be handled securely and will not be disclosed to other parties except where necessary to administer the Society, meet its legal obligations or process Gift Aid claims.
