Wollaton Park Book Launch

A new book on Wollaton Park is to be published in April, as part of the WHaCS Your Wollaton series.
Colin Robbins, who is a long standing ranger at Wollaton Park, active member of Friends of Wollaton Park, and also a member of WHaCS, has written this book.
The book traces the park’s evolution from medieval farmland and private hunting estate into the cherished public park and nature reserve we know today.
A launch for the book is to take place at Wollaton Hall on Monday 20 April 2026 at 6.45pm and will be attended by The Sheriff of Nottingham. A drinks reception will be followed by a talk from the author.
Tickets are £5 (plus booking fee if purchased online) and are available via the Eventbrite link below, or in person at the WHaCS meeting in March.
The book will retail at £9 but is available to WHaCS and FoWP members for £7.50 (excluding postage).
